Little Eyes

STA_0744[1]Yesterday I went to Aunt Lavonne’s house. We visited with my Grandma Allene and cousins. Our cousin Faith surprised us when we walked in and started singing one of our songs…. “God On The Mountain” and “Your Still God” and “Build My Mansion” She almost had all the words down. Lavonne said she will stand by the TV and watch us (we were recorded on a small tv program) and sing with us. Every word.

When I saw this it warmed my heart! In the middle of singing she said “This is SO much fun!” I realized in the smallest ways you can have an influence. And you have no idea where or to who… but it just might be the most important thing of the whole trip! To be an influence for good to this little, sweet cousin of mine Faith. You never know. She is right it IS fun.

I am working on planning stuff even while I am here. I have been working at staying in contact and we are scheduled to be at Bethany Christian Mission on the 27th of this month. We are looking forward to it.

I am trying to take every opportunity to practice and sing that we can. Today we need to go get a few things so we will make the drive into Lexington I believe. We like to practice singing while we are in the car going places. I also am learning more on my guitar! I like to sit out on the porch and play it there.

Well, we are getting ready to leave. Today I need to try to go to the nursing home and see if we can get a time to sing to the folks there…. I will either try to do that today or tomorrow. I am looking forward to the singing on the square tomorrow. This is where we get to enjoy some good bluegrass!

    I WAS THINKING ABOUT THE ACC. TAPE I GAVE YOU IT MAY BE A SPLIT TRACK

    THAT MAY BE THE REASONG I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND THE PERFORMANCE TAPE…. DAHHH CHECK IT OUT.
